Five Ancient Khmer Art Pieces returned to Cambodia, September 2021

Part of the agreement signed between the Cambodian government and the Latchford Estate on 18 Sept. 2020, the five art pieces -- out of more than 100 items covered by the agreement -- reached Phnom Penh on Sept. 29, 2021. They are:

• Prajnaparamita, Bayon Style, late 12th c. Sandstone, H. 133 cm | ព្រះនាងប្រាជ្ញាបារមី
  សម័យអង្គរ, រចនាបថបាយន័, ចុងស.វទី ១២ គ.ស ។ ថ្មភក់ ទំហំ : ១៣៣ ។ (Photo 1)
• Ardhanarisvara (Half Male & Half Female Deity), Koh Ker Style, 10 th c. Sandstone H. 94 cm | ព្រះអឌ្ឍនារីស្វរៈ (ព្រះឥសូរ និងព្រះនាងឌមា) សម័យអង្គរ,រចនាបងកោះកេរ្តិ៍, ស.វទី 10 គ.ស ។ ថ្មភក់ ទំហំ : ៩៤ x ៦១ x ៣៤ ស.ម ។ (Photo 2)
