Geffrey Corbett Green

Geffrey Corbett Green is an independent researcher who has been exploring the Western cultural representations of Bali and Southeast Asia during the inter-war period.

His PhD thesis at Sheffield Hallam University (Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England) in June 2002 was Walter Spies, tourist art and Balinese art in inter-war colonial Bali.

His work has often been referred too, for instance in Stamen and Pistil: Masculinity and Femininity of the Porno-Tropics in Dutch Colonial Bali’ (Feb.2021).
