Nancy Beavan
A Honorary Research Fellow at Cardiff University, Cardiff School of History, Archaeology and Religion, and a Research Associate with the Smithsonian Institution, Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery (FSGA), Nancy Beavan has explored several Cambodian sites as a investigator and radiocarbon dating specialist.
She lived and worked in Cambodia many years as Senior Research Fellow with Otago University, New Zealand. In 2015, her findings were at the core of the ‘Living in the Shadow of Angkor’ exhibition, focusing of the ritual practices of Cambodia’s 15th to 17th century ethnic minorities.
