Thierry Zéphir

Head of research at the National Museum of Asian Arts (Musée Guimet) in Paris, Thierry Zéphir is also a professor at the École du Louvre, where he teaches courses on India and the countries of the Indianized world.

Since 1991 he has regularly taught students at the Phnom Penh Faculty of Archaeology. He has authored various books and scholarly articles, including Khmer: Lost Empire of Cambodia, and L'Abcdaire d'Angkor et de l'art khmer (with Claude Jacques and Berenice Geoffroy-Schneider). In 1997, he curated the international exhibition Sculpture of Angkor and Ancient Cambodia –- Millennium of Glory.
