Alastair McCready, Lead Editor at Southeast Asia Globe, has recovered rare aerial photographs of Cambodia and Vietnam taken in 1953, a few months before Cambodia’s independence. Read the full story here.
The infra-red shots were taken by French Air Force pilot Francois-Xavier Moussus, and provided to the magazine by the pilot son’s, Fabrice.
Francois-Xavier Moussus (1921−1985) was a pilot of the French Air Force based in Tourane (now Da-Nang, Vietnam).
