The German Apsara Conservation Project (GACP) is a non-profit organisation initiated by the University of Applied Sciences, Cologne, Germany, and dedicated to preserving the devatas, apsaras and other bas-reliefs of Angkor Wat.
New techniques in plastic arts conservation are applied to protect bas-reliefs and sculpted stones from erosion.
