Hedwige Multzer o'Naghten

Hedwige Multzer o’Naghten is an independent researcher specializing in Khmer and Buddhist art history who has studied Buddhist iconography in the Angkorian temples initially under the direction of archaeologist Bruno Dagens.
After completing her doctorate at the University of Paris 3‑Sorbonne nouvelle in 2011, she joined the research unit UMR 7528 (Monde iranien et indien) and worked as an associate researcher with CREOPS (Paris 4‑Sorbonne). In partnership with the Center for Khmer Studies (Siem Reap), she has developed her specific research on the Buddhism of Jayavarman VII from the angle of iconography through a comparative study between temples and sculpture (in partnership with the Centre for Khmer Studies).
