Cakra, Chakra

Cakra or Chakra is a Sanskrit term referring to a discus as the round shape of a disc or as a weapon.

While in Saisism it refers to the "inner mandala" of a person, Cakra in Buddhism (in particular Mahayana] is the wheel, as a symbol of cyclical lives and reincarnations.
