Dvarapala
sk द्वारपाल dvārapāla, lit. "gate-keeper".
Dvārapāla are the guardians of the gates represented at the doors of most Cambodian temples and pagodas, ancient and modern.
In the Maharabharata, they are Yakshas, ambivalent spirits.
